FRANCES MARLENE KAST, 55, of Christiansburg passed away February 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Mary Virginia Kast; brothers, Cleetus Kast and Calvin Kast; and sisters, Darlene Barker, Alma jean Parker and Rita Whitlock. She is survived by her life partner, Samuel Hinkley; son, Joshua Kast; step daughters, Sandra Hinkley and partner, Amy Meade, April Lovern and fiancé, Joseph Kincaid; grandchildren, Gavin DeJesus Hinkley, Tara Hinkley, Blaine Bryant and Daniel Price; sisters, Virginia Harmon and husband, Roger, Doris Stafford, Bonita Harmon and husband, Tommy; brothers, Gene Kast and wife, Linda, and Glenn Kast and wife, Sherry.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at New Hope Church of God. Funeral services will be on Friday, February 15 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Church of God with Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
