Fern T. Anderson, age 97 of Taylors Falls passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Parmly on the Lake in Chisago City. Fern was born on October 15, 1921 in Cavalier, North Dakota to parents George and Elma Fazel. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jane, father and mother and sister ruby.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis; son, Scott (Sue) Anderson of Casa Grande, AZ; grandchildren, Jason (Lindsey) Bond, Thomas Anderson, Casey Anderson and Nicole Fitzgerald as well as… Read More » her three grandchildren, Preston, Cecelia and Benjamin Bond. Fern graduated from high school at Cavalier, North Dakota and came to Minneapolis and attended Northwestern Bible College. She graduated and went to work for Kellogg Cereal Sales Company where she met her husband Curtis.

Fern then worked at Northwestern Bible College in the Controller’s Office and later secretary to the president. She married Curtis Anderson in 1951 and they moved to Taylors Falls in 1954. They moved to Eden Prairie in 1964 and resided there until 2003 when they moved back to Taylors Falls to retire.

Fern loved her friends and First Lutheran Church and the activities she was involved with there. She also enjoyed doing ceramics. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
