Jonathon A. Jones, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 with family by his side. Jon was born on August 3, 1942 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Helen and Melvin Jones. Upon completion of high school in Minneapolis, he went on to join the U.S. Navy where he served aboard the USS Bauer with his brother Dick in 1958.

Jon worked hard all of his life doing repair work on computers, televisions, Xerox machines and basically whatever he could get his hands on. His interests included… Read More » gardening, model trains, fishing, camping, Dungeons and Dragons, cribbage and many other games (so long as we let him cheat). He devoted much of his time and energy to his family whom he dearly loved.

Jon is survived by his daughter, Kari Lindley; his brothers James Jones and David Jones; and sister Marion Deluney; and many nieces and nephews who all loved and adored him. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Helen Jones; his sister, Rosie Winterberger; and his brothers, Richard Jones, Dean Magney, and Rick Jones; niece Terri Reigel; and great-nephew Brandon Reitan. Jon’s family wishes to express their love and appreciation to friends and family for their support, love and prayers.
