Florence Jane (Viets) Sunn, 92, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Riverpointe Health Campus. Florence was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 25, 1926 to the late Vivian Craft and Inez (Stallman) Viets. She was a Central High School graduate.

Florence was an avid reader who enjoyed her frequent visits to Stringtown Library. She had many interests which included gardening, cats, birds and baking cookies at Christmastime. She made it an art.

Florence… Read More » was an intelligent woman who traveled internationally with her husband, Harold. Florence and Harold were founders of Whirlpool Credit Union. Florence is survived by her close friends, Chloe and Terry Weimer of Evansville, IN; and by her loving family in California.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold Edward Sunn, her parents; and by infant sister, Mary Ann Viets. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1400 E. Virginia St., Evansville, IN 47711 with burial to follow. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave.
