Obituary for Floyd Reese Sr. Floyd Allen Reese Sr., 68, of Dinwiddie passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. He was born February 26, 1950 in Petersburg, Virginia and was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Aileen Robertson Reese and brother, James Lewis Reese. He was the owner of Reese’s Auto Service in Dinwiddie, Virginia.

Floyd loved his family and friends and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Jean Reese of Dinwiddie; a son, Floyd Allen “Speedy” Reese Jr., and wife, Amy, of Henrico; one granddaughter, Raichel Lynn Reese of Henrico; father, Preston Lewis Reese; brother, Johnny M. Reese and wife, Linda of Colonial Heights; two aunts, Kitty Strickland of Oxford, Mississippi and Frances Robertson of the Villages, Florida; sister-in-law, Mary L. McCormick; two brothers-in-law, William F. Lewis and wife, Phyllis and George E. Lewis and wife, Ann; special friend, L.A. “Allie” Brooks; his beloved dog Tee Tee; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday April 26, 2018 in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George with Pastor George Edward Lewis Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday night, April 25, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Condolences may be registered at www. ealvinsmall.com.
