Wehmeyer Meier of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Fredericksburg Nursing & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, on Monday, January 28th, 2019 at the age of 95 years. She was born October 22nd, 1923 in Fredericksburg, Texas the daughter of Edgar Wehmeyer and Cecelia Jenschke Wehmeyer, married Alfred H. Meier on June 11th, 1944, he preceded her death on June 24th, 1959, married Herman “Bert” Klein on February 22nd, 1965 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, worked for Mooney Aircraft, Market Produce, and the Hill Country Memorial Hospital as the Head Dietitian. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband Alfred Meier, second husband Bert Klein, granddaughter, Tracie Meier, daughter in law, Beverly Meier, two brothers, Leroy & Frank Wehmeyer.

Mrs. Klein is survived by three sons, one daughter & spouses, Donald & Carolyn Meier of Comfort Dennis Meier of Comfort, Debbie & Larry Heiner of Fredericksburg, Dale Meier of Comfort, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, two brothers & spouses, Rubin & Roberta Wehmeyer of Fredericksburg, Danny & Linda Wehmeyer of Castroville, Texas, sister in law, Evelyn, Mrs. Frank Wehmeyer of Fredericksburg. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1st, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Alan Williams officiating.

Graveside services and interment will follow in Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery in Fredericksburg. Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Fredericksburg Vol. Fire Department, or to the charity of their choice.

Visitation for Frances Klein will be on Thursday afternoon from 5 to 7:00 P.M. and on Friday morning from 7:00 A.M. to 8:15 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, and from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg. Arrangements are by the Schaetter Funeral Home Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www. schaetter.com.
