George was born July 9, 1962 in Kerrville, Texas to Pablo and Cecilia Lopez Muniz. George married Julie Androusky on September 26, 1998.

George was a US Military Veteran George is survived by his wife: Julie Muniz of Comfort Mother: Cecilia Muniz of Comfort Daughter: Myranda Muniz of Kansas City, MO Grandchild: Adrian Campbell Siblings and spouses: Michael Muniz of San Antonio Kathy and Chris Gonzalez of Yorktown Peggy and Richard Carrasco of Kerrville Rick Muniz of Comfort Cindy and Alex Stewart of Killeen Along with his father, George was preceded in death a Child Adrian Paul Muniz Rosary services will be held on Tuesday February 19th at 6:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home, Comfort. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comfort Graveside services and interment will follow in the San Jose Cemetery in Comfort. Visitation for George Muniz will begin on Tuesday, February 19th from 4 to 7 P.M. and on Wednesday, February 20th from 8 to 10:15 A.M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Comfort and from 11:15 A.M. to 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Comfort Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Comfort VFD, American Cancer Society, or to the charity of one’s choice.
