Leslie was born July 10, 1934 in Laramie, Wyoming to Guy and Emma Pregal Murdoch. Veteran of the United States Army Leslie married Phyllis Ann Johnson on September 5, 1964 in Laramie, Wyoming Along with his wife, Phyllis Leslie is survived by five children and spouses: Colleen and Randy Smith Suzanne and Bob Bentley Laurie and Gary Stecks Patty and Doug Ramsdell Dwain and Jamie Murdoch Thirteen Grandchildren and Twenty Great Grandchildren Along with his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by four siblings, Elvira Wahl, Herbert Murdoch, Ruth Kennedy, and Emma Smith Memorial Services will be held on Saturday March 2nd at 10:00 a.m. in the Fredericksburg Bible Church with Pastor Jeremy Thomas officiating.

Entombment of Cremains in the Black Hills National Cemetery, SD will take place at a later date.
