Jenschke nee Erline Ann Stehling of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away in the Windcrest Nursing & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at the age of 86 years. She was born July 19th, 1932 in Fredericksburg, Texas, the daughter of Louis Stehling and Anna Schmidtzinsky Stehling, married Marcus Otto Jenschke on August 16th, 1950 in St. Mary’s Church in Fredericksburg, lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church, Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marcus, daughter, Terese Jenschke, great grandson, Hayden Pfiester, son in law, Jerry Howard, two sisters, Adeline Stewart, and Lottie Beckmann, and brother, Lawrence Stehling. Mrs. Jenschke is survived by her four daughters & spouses, Linda & Daniel Pfiester of Fredericksburg, Annette Howard of Magnolia, Texas, Susan & Atlee Crenwelge of Fredericksburg, Monica & Art Bashor of Dallas, Texas, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, one sister, one brother, Julia, Mrs. Andrew Cornehl of Fredericksburg, Edward Stehling of Fredericksburg, brother in law, Kenneth Stewart of Dallas Vigil- Rosary services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 P. M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral home in Fredericksburg.

Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10th, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg. Graveside services & entombment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the St. Joseph’s Halle Restoration, St. Mary’s Church, or Hill Country Memorial Hospice.

Visitation for Erline Jenschke will be on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. and on Thursday morning from 7:00 A.M. to 1:45 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. Arrangements are by the Schaetter Funeral Home Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www. schaetter.com.
