Frances’ Obituary THOMPSON, Frances Joan (Sibilsky) – of Lupton, MI, age 88, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Tom Teall officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Davison Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors 11 AM-12 PM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. Frances was born in Flint, MI on January 12, 1931, daughter of the late William and Iris (Simpson) Sibilsky. She was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1949.

Frances married Orval Thompson on February 11, 1950 in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2013. She retired from AC Spark Plug in 1980 after 30 years and 3 months of service. Frances was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Grace Bible Baptist Church where she also taught Junior Church.

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Frances is survived by 2 sons, William Orval (Natalie) Thompson and Thomas Lee (Jennifer) Thompson; daughter-in-law, Janet Thompson; 5 brothers, Darwin (Rosalee) Sibilsky, Jimmy (Phyllis) Heilig, John Heilig, David Heilig and Henry Heilig; 6 sisters, Elaine Sears, Pauline DeMott, Winnie O’Meara, Katie Heilig, Ethel Heilig and Sue Heilig; life-long friend, Susie Blaylock; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Charles Thompson; 2 grandsons, Justin Thompson and Adam Thompson; brother, Art Heilig; sister, Jean Sinkey and brother-in-law, Don DeMott.
