Grace Tankersley left this world on February 9, 2019 in Union, South Carolina. Grace was born on January 10, 1928 in Lee County, Virginia. At the age of twelve, her family moved to Whitmire, South Carolina.

She remained a resident of Whitmire until September 2014 when she moved to Heartland Manor, Union, South Carolina. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Bostic Wix and husband David, step daughter Nancy Brown Nix and husband Dickie, and two sisters, Joyce Moore and Vema Flow. Grace has three surviving grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were two husbands: Julian (Boots) Bostic and Walter Brown; her grandson, Mark Wix; four sisters and one brother. Visitation and services will be at Gray Funeral Home, Whitmire, South Carolina on Saturday,February 16, 2019 from 4 PM until 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Heartland Hospice, 421 SE Main Street, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29681.
