Shirley’s Obituary GRANT, Shirley Ann (Davis) – of Davison, MI, age 88, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Todd Petty officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors 10 AM-1:30 PM Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Court Street Church of God or the Alzheimer’s Association, in Shirley’s memory. Shirley was born in Detroit, MI on July 1, 1930, daughter of the late H. Holland and Carrie (Lenigar) Davis.

She married Forrest M. Grant in 1955, shortly thereafter, moved their family to Flint where they raised 3 children. Shirley attended and actively served in her church for 51 years. She retired from AC Spark Plug in 1993 and moved to Davison, MI.

Shirley had a passion for growing roses which she shared with others, reading and Bible study, hospital visitation, and caring for her family. Her first and primary passion was for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Shirley longed to grow deep in her faith, and to love and serve others.

Shirley is survived by 3 children, Tim Grant, Linda (Gerald) Kraszewski and Cheryl Grant; 2 grandsons, Andrew (Revee) Kraszewski and Matthew (Shaylee) Kraszewski; 4 great-grandchildren, Audrey Kraszewski, Raelynn Kraszewski, Elijah Kraszewski and Sawyer Kraszewski; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest M. Grant; great-grandson, Wyatt Kraszewski; sister, Helen Davis Pelto and brother-in-law, Arthur Pelto. Shirley will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
