Juanita’s Obituary ODISHOOE, Juanita Louise – of Davison, age 85, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Vicinia Gardens Assisted Living in Fenton. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 1, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison, MI 48423; Chaplain Goodman Cox officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 AM-2 PM and 4-8 PM on Sunday. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service on Monday. Juanita was born in Sharpsville, Indiana on April 15, 1933, daughter of the late Carl and Frieda (Williams) Shuck.

She married Frederick Odishooe on May 24, 1954. Juanita thoroughly enjoyed cooking and having large family dinners. She started cooking in a restaurant in Kokomo, Indiana at the tender age of 14.

Nothing pleased her more than making sure everyone had more than enough to eat. She even published her very own cookbook in the 1980’s. Beyond her love for cooking, she also did a variety of crafts including quilting, crocheting, and making stuffed animals.

Juanita is survived by her beloved husband, Frederick (Fritz) of 64 years; son, Fred (Joanne) Odishooe; daughter, Sondra Rogers; sisters, Martha, Sharon, and Edith; brothers, Roy, Bob, Don and Ron; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Henson, Freddie Odishooe; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Conner Henson; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and nine brothers and sisters. Juanita loved her family immensely and considered her grandchildren and great-grandchildren the lights of her life.
