Arlene’s Obituary RUSSELL, Arlene Louise (Ranville) – of Burton, MI, age 90, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019, with her family at her side, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Arlene was born in Flint, MI on July 25, 1928, daughter of the late Richard and Bertha (Bently) Ranville.

She was married to her beloved husband, Jack W. Russell, for 39 years until his death on November 12, 1986. They were long-time members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Arlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

She was a tireless volunteer to many causes and selfless in helping others in need. Her passion for life was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

Arlene is survived by 3 sons, John Russell of Marquette, MI, James Russell of Burton, MI and Thomas (Kelly) Russell of Ypsilanti, MI; 2 grandsons, Garth (Bambi) Russell and Josh (April) Schroeder; 7 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Grace, Avery, Adrian, Adelaida, Tallia and Raelynn; many other loving family members and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel; daughter, Laura; grandson, Lance; 2 brothers, James and Richard Ranville; half-brother, Ron Nunemaker.
