Lawrence’s Obituary ASH, Lawrence Hugh – of Burton, age 81, passed away February 10, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center – Briarwood. A Funeral Service, with Military Honors, will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. , Davison, MI 48423.

Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM – 8 PM Tuesday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Lawrence was born in Beaverton, MI on July 3, 1937, son of the late Edward and Marie (Ulshafer) Ash. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army.

Lawrence married Betty Freese in November 1, 1974. He retired from Buick as a Tool & Die Maker after 43 ½ years of service. Lawrence enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, going to the casino and playing the lottery.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Howard Ash, David (Karen) Ash and Larry (Stacy) Ash; step-children, Claude Ash, Edward (Laura) Ash and Noel (Dawn) Ash; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; siblings, Norma, Marcia and Flora. He was preceded in death by siblings, Ronald, Earnest, Bernard, Richard, Floyd, Ralph, Doris, Claude, Lucille and Kathryn. Please share your thoughts with the family at www.
