Elizabeth’s Obituary MUNRO, Elizabeth “Liz” (Kish) – of Davison, MI, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Elk Rapids, MI on a later date. The family will receive visitors 12-2 PM and 4-8 PM Friday, February 8, 2019 and 11 AM-12 PM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Eastside Mission, in Elizabeth’s memory.

Elizabeth was born in Flint, MI on February 24, 1928, daughter of the late Janos and Zsuzsanna (Duzs) Kish. She married George “Archie” Munro on November 12, 1949 in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2009. Elizabeth retired from AC Spark Plug in 1968 after 23 years of service.

After retirement, Elizabeth helped manage the family farm. She was a member of UAW Local #659 and a lifelong member of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Christ in Flint, MI. Elizabeth was an alumnus of Flint Northern High School.

She was proud of her Hungarian heritage and enjoyed cooking, music, dancing and family holiday gatherings. Elizabeth is survived by 2 children, Scott (Kerri Stebbins) Munro and Susan (Dan) Donovan; 7 grandchildren, Munro Donovan, Jack Donovan, Jennifer (Nick) Dinsmore, Kelley (Bill) Davis, Jerry (Katie) Donovan, Elizabeth (Barry) Campbell and David Dremer; 11 great-grandchildren, Weslie, William, David, Benjamin, Ethan, Masen, Lauren, Lindyn, Sarah, Hailey and Grant; dear friends, Pat Milan, Eva Pirich, Betty (Glenn) McDaniels and Betty Beyers; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by 7 siblings, Mary (Mervin) Bevington, John (Nell) Kish, Irene (Adolf) Wagner, Sue (Donald) Hackett, Jasper (Millie) Kish, Joe (Arlene) Kish and Steve (Florence) Kish; brother-in-law, David (Ellen) Munro.
