Robert’s Obituary GIBSON, Robert Lee – of Flint, age 86, passed away February 2, 2019 at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd. , Flint; Rev.

Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd.

, Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or a charity of one’s choice. Robert was born in Flint, MI on November 10, 1932, son of the late Lee J. and Opal I. (Ecker) Gibson. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1952.

Robert married Betty Lou Hudson on June 6, 1953. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, enjoyed traveling and woodworking. Robert retired from AC Spark Plug with 30 years of service.

Robert is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Elizabeth (David) Buckner of NC, Susan M. Maynard of TN and Belinda J. (Jeff) McGlinchey of NC; granddaughters, Julie White, Angelia (Bud) White, Sarah Hargrove and Catherine (Chris) Anderson of TN; great-grandchildren, Mason Bolin, Triston Bolin, Ethan, Jackson, Brayden Anderson, Shelby White all of TN; brother, Donald; several step grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by son, Robert S.; parents, brothers, Peter and Floyd. Please share your thoughts with the family at www.
