Charles’ Obituary BENJAMIN, Charles Matthew – of Burton, MI, age 77, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019. Cremation has taken place. A Private Service has been held.

Charles was born in Flint, MI on April 13, 1941, son the late James and Alice (Harrison) Benjamin. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Charles retired from General Motors in 1995 after over 30 years of service.

He was a member of the Swartz Creek American Legion Post #294. Charles enjoyed playing cards and fishing. Charles is survived by 2 sons, Matt (Lucy) Benjamin and Anthony Benjamin; 2 granddaughters, Kayli Burns and Victoria Benjamin; dear friend, Pat Suski; extended family, Sheila (Robert) Bennett, Tony (Heather) Suski and Trevor Hillier; 2 brothers, Dick Benjamin and John (Carol) Benjamin; sister, Elaine Doty; many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Janet Pate and Pat Doty. The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to the nurses and staff at Regency at Grand Blanc for their compassionate and professional care of Charles. Please share your thoughts with the family at www.
