Michael “Mike”‘s Obituary MCBRIDE, Michael James “Mike” – of Fort Gratiot, age 80, passed away February 10, 2019 at Lake Huron Medical Center. A Funeral Mass, with a Resolution of Condolence by Knights of Columbus Council #4090, will be celebrated 2 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr.

Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd.

, Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mount Elliot St., Detroit, MI 48207.

Mike was born in Detroit, MI on September 1, 1938, son of the late Jerome and Henrietta (Fasse) McBride. He married Suzanne Coatta Buddy on September 1, 1990. Mike retired in 1993 after 38 years in the elevator business and was a proud union member.

After retirement, he loved traveling in his RV for the past 20 years. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4090. For the last 40+ years, Mike enjoyed playing cards with his buddies.

He was also an avid bowler in his younger years. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Mike is survived by his wife, Suzanne; children, Christopher (Tracey) McBride, Michelle McBride, Leroy (Donna) Buddy and Scott (Vicki) Buddy; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Lynn) McBride.

He was preceded in death by brother, Patrick McBride; and sister-in-law, Sandy Olejniczak. Please share your thoughts with the family at www. allenfuneralhomeinc.com.
