Frances (Fran) Scott Westmoreland 85 years old passed away on June 23, 2018. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina February 4, 1933. After 83 years of a full and active life, Fran moved to Brevard, North Carolina in 2016 to be near her family.

Fran is preceded in death by Husband, Bill Westmoreland, Son, Butch Westmoreland and all of her siblings. Surviving family members are Daughter, Anne (husband Jack) (Chuck) Duncan; Grandchildren; Jennifer Duncan; Chris Duncan; Kelley (husband Erik) Ingvarson; and Matt Duncan; Great Grandchildren; Hunter Duncan; Brooke Duncan; and Magnus Ingvarson; Sister-in-law, Queenie Scott and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 12:00 pm at Little River Baptist Church in Penrose, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little River Baptist Church Haiti Mission Fund, in Penrose, North Carolina.
