Francis C. “Frank” Stone, 85, of Westminster passed away on September 21, 2018 at his residence. Frank was the beloved husband of Cecilia Stone whom he married on July 10, 1954. Frank was born on January 2, 1933 in Baltimore to the late Gertrude and Francis Stone, Sr

He was a member of the 1950 graduating class of Mt. St. Joseph High School in Baltimore. Frank served in the United States Navy and the Naval Reserves.

Frank went on to serve as American Red Cross Property Manager retiring for good in 1998. Frank was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Westminster, the VFW and the Yale Boys Club where he served as President for many years.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by 3 sons and their wives; Frank and Betsy Stone of Hollywood Shores, Maryland, Jeff and Bridget Stone of Westminster, and Tim and Cindy Stone of Ashburn, Virginia. He leaves five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and is survived by sisters Pat Breach and Marie Stone. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his son Joseph Stone, his sisters Rita and Joan, and his brother Richard.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street. , Westminster, with a eulogy beginning at 10:50 a.m. Interment at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills will be held at a later date.
