Dawn Marie Burger, 55, of Westminster, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Born August 28, 1963 in Baltimore, Dawn was the daughter of the late Ronald and Kathleen Sweeney. She was the beloved wife of 31 years to Joseph Edward Burger.

Dawn graduated from Catonsville Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Marketing. She was actively involved with numerous charitable organizations including Ride for SIDS, Johnathan Ogden Foundation, and The Jake Offutt Foundation.

She enjoyed shopping, cooking for her family, and riding her Harley. Dawn’s kindhearted, thoughtful, and fiery temper will be greatly missed by her adoring family. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons Christopher Burger and Shawn Michael Burger both of Westminster; sister Teri Gilkes of Bel Air; sister-in-law Carolyn Beinstein of Owings Mills; brother-in-law Timothy Burger of Timonium; and many nieces and nephews In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her infant son Jack McClung, III.

The family will welcome friends on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 until the start of services at 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd. , Westminster.
