Michael Howard “Mike” Becker, 56, of Union Bridge, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his home. Born November 20, 1961 in Westminster he was the son of the late Raymond and Eileen (Esworthy) Becker. Mike was a dedicated employee for 14 years at Canyon Contracting, a concrete company that he not only helped to establish, but also continued working as a concrete foreman until his recent retirement 6 months ago.

Surviving him are children Richard Kosmicki and wife Serena of Westminster, Michele Buchholz and husband Brandon of Westminster, Marie Sible and fiancé Chad Bitzel of Taneytown; siblings Sylvia Swope and husband Paul of Thurmont, Danny Becker and wife Vickie of Littlestown, Kathy Yingling and husband Larry of Union Bridge; grandchildren Nevaeh, Lucy, Destiny, and Abby. The family will welcome friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 3 pm until the start of services at 4 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd. , Westminster.

Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to either the Wounded Warrior, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517 or Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave. , Westminster MD 21157.
