Ruth Naomi Krebs passed away at her daughter and son-in- law’s home in Westminster on October 19, 2018, four days after celebrating her 91st birthday. She was the loving wife of the late LeRoy Krebs who predeceased her in 2010. Ruth was born on October 15, 1927 in Baltimore to the late Lula and Adam Hittel.

She is survived by her sons; Roy R. (Linda) Krebs of Abingdon, Glenn R. (Kathie) Krebs of Pasadena, Richard S. (Wendy) Krebs of Littlestown, PA. , and by her daughter Kathy Lee (Jim)… Read More » Magee of Westminster. She also leaves her grandchildren, Brian Krebs, Amanda (John) Gunnett, Rebecca (Tristan) Gillette, Jim Krebs, Chris Krebs, April (Chris) Paul, Richard (Kristine) Krebs, Jr., Jim Magee, III and Heather (Ryan) Sexton; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster. She was a lifelong homemaker who, above all, enjoyed spending time with her family. Ruth was the sole surviving sibling, being preceded in death by her sisters; Evelyn Kelbel and Norma Malinofsky and brothers; Earl and Robert Hittel.

Her family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Martha Clementson officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
