David Eugene Frebertshauser, 71, of Westminster, died October 9, 2018 at University of Maryland Medical Center. Born December 19, 1946 in Hanover, Pa. , he was the son of the late John Frebertshauser and Madeline Brehm.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jill Bonnie Frebertshauser. David graduated from Westminster High School in 1964. He proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Intrepid.

Before retiring he worked at Congoleum as a Stationary Engineer. He enjoyed hunting, watching the Baltimore Ravens, and traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother Donald Frebertshauser and wife Rose of Westminster, mother-in-law Renee Leader, brother-in-law Jeffrey Bluefield, nephew Drew, great-niece Dakota, and his canine companion Riley.

He was predeceased by his niece Denise Frebertshauser. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m., on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Leister’s Church Cemetery.
