Barbara J. Beary, 84, of Olney, passed away peacefully at the Dove House in Westminster on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Barbara was born on April 2, 1934 in Pinner, England to the late John and Mary Hallam. She completed her education in England, got married and moved first to Canada and then to the United States where she raised her four children.

Airy. Barbara also leaves six grandchildren; Kelly Baker, Jeffrey Beary and wife Amanda, Samantha Beary, Travis Beary, Michael Pendleton and Kaitlin Markus.

She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; George, Sierra, Carlie, Lance and Julia, and by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara leaves her sister Pauline Trabucchi and husband Richard of Norfolk, England. She is also survived by her former husband John Beary.

Barbara was an optimist, at all times seeing the bright side of life. She enjoyed playing bingo and searching for, and finding, great bargains. She always loved children and had several foster children during her life.

Most of all, Barbara loved being with her family and was always the first to arrive and the last to leave the frequent family gatherings. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her brother John Hallam and his wife Viv. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held at a later date.
