**OBITUARY TO BE UPDATED SOON Hammond Stewart, 97, of Westminster and a resident of Carroll Lutheran Village, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born October 1, 1921 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Dr. William Harry and Anna Elizabeth (Cashour) Stewart. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia Gertrude Stewart, whom he married in 1946 and who passed away November 25, 2017.

The family will welcome friends on… Read More » Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Krug Chapel of Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster MD, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. A private Interment, with military honors, will be held at Resurrection Acres at Arlington Baptist Church at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave. , Westminster, MD 21157.
