Thomas Patrick Doney, 69, of Westminster, died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his home. Born on October 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Samuel A. Doney II, and Mary Ellen “Rusty” Smith. Thomas worked for many years in the masonry business.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a boat captain, and a pilot, who loved flying and fishing. He is survived by his two daughters Jamie Doney of Baltimore, and Jennifer Doney of Westminster, four grandchildren Jasmine Marie Doney, Jayden M. Jenkins, Justin M. Jenkins, and Isabel Younger, two nieces Cynthia S. Nix and Joanne E. Santiago, and one aunt Patricia May Bearden.

He was predeceased by a brother Samuel A. Doney III. The family will receive friends at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main St., Westminster, Md. 21157 on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life service will begin at 7 p.m. Interment will be held at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
