Ervin Elwood Fritz, 92, of Westminster, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Country Acres Assisted Living. Born on January 15, 1926 in Spring Grove, PA he was the son of the late Millard Webster and Anna M. (Little) Fritz. He was the devoted husband for 69 years to the late Hazel Loftice Fritz, who predeceased him on July 22, 2013.

He was a member of the Door to Virtue Lodge #46 A.F. & A.M., Westminster Elks Lodge #2277 and served as past exalted ruler, and Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren. Ervin was an avid golfer. He enjoyed watching the Ravens and Orioles and smoking cigars.

Surviving him are children Donna L. Eckard of Westminster, Rhonda G. and husband Richard Magruder, Jr. of Westminster, Jeffrey W. Fritz of Rockville; sister Doris Harbaugh of Alum Bank, PA; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Teresa D. Goss; son-in-law David Eckard; and 5 siblings. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 10 am until the start of services at 11:00 a.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd.
