Eileen T. Vollmer, 73, of Westminster, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the Dove House. Born Oct. 17, 1944 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Neenan) Hackett and Walter Hackett, Sr

She was the beloved wife of Wendell A. Vollmer, Jr., her husband of 44 years. She enjoyed being a housewife, traveling to San Franciso and shopping. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by sons Todd M. Vollmer and wife Heather of Hampstead and Craig A. Vollmer and wife Randi of Baltimore, and a grandson Justin Vollmer. She was predeceased by brothers Walter Hackett, Jr. and Thomas Hackett. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon at the church with Father Andrew DeFusco as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
