Francis Scott Hereford, age 76, of Selma, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy James Hereford and his parents Francis Payne and Mary Scott Hereford of Montgomery. Mr. Hereford is survived by; sons: Robert Scott Hereford, (Amanda) of Santa Barbara, CA, William James Hereford (Langston) of Birmingham; grandsons: Robert Scott Hereford, Jr. of Austin, TX, John Frederick Hereford of Santa Barbara, CA, Joseph Blythe Hereford of Santa Barbara, CA, William James Hereford JR of Birmingham, Al, Carey Stabler Hereford of Birmingham; sister in law: Jamie James Curtis (Jim) of St. Simons Island, GA.

Scott Hereford attended Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, AL ,and graduated from Auburn University. Mr. Hereford was a partner at Furniss, Vaughn and Company, since 1974. His family moved to Selma in 1970 and he was a member of what is now Cornerstone Presbyterian Church since 1970.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday October 27 2018 at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church with Rev. Steve Burton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will start at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church in the Warren Room. Pallbearers are: Tom Glover, Glenn ton, Bob Keys, Steve Kopp, Norm Trotter, Pat Haley, and Doug Fortner. Memorials can be made to: Cornerstone Presbyterian Church 301 Broad St Selma, AL 36701 You may visit www.
