Obituary for Francisco “Frank” Diaz Francisco “Frank” Diaz, 80, of Waukegan passed away on May 2, 2018. Frank was born on September 2, 1937 in Houston, Texas. Frank was a jack of all trades, who enjoyed working in his garage and had a great appreciation for animals including the birds in his back yard.

He loved playing his guitar and listening to country western and tex-mex music. Frank will be dearly missed by his wife of 28 years Adella Lopez Diaz; his children James, Daniel, Russell, Mark Anthony, and Rose Ray of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; many great grandchildren; his sister Isabel Granger; beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Antonio Ramirez and Porfiria Fuentes; both parents Jose Andres Diaz and Espitacion Ramirez; beloved sons Frank and Joseph; siblings Juan Villalobos, Valentina Farias, Phillip Berrospe, Angel Corona, Mary Corona, Frances Solis and Andrew Diaz.

Frank’s visitation will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church 508 Grand Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Ascension Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in Frank’s name may be made to his family. The Diaz greatly appreciates the professional and loving care given by The Great Lakes Caring Hospice team Angie, Iga, Joe, Anna, Tito as well as his caregivers Norma and Tawana.
