Obituary of Francis Williams Francis Gene Williams, 79, beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Jones Williams, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at his home. Born on April 11, 1938, in Conway, he was a son of the late William P. Williams and the late Florrie Browder Williams. Mr. Williams was a US Navy veteran and a Mason.

He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Terry McBee (Ricky) of Georgetown, Linda Cook (Bill) of Eutaville and David Williams (Martha) of Georgetown; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Carolyn Powell of Sumter, Linda Hinson (Lonnie) of Sumter and Patsy Smith (David) of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dot Cromer.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Screven Baptist Church. Online condolences may be left at www. ridgewayfh.com Ridgeway Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements.
