Frankie Jo (Ledford) Gomez, 79 of Muskogee, passed away Friday afternoon, February 15, 2019. She was born the 4th child of 10 on September 2, 1939 in Walters, Oklahoma to Jesse and Ruth (Brinkley) Ledford. She grew up and attended the public schools and graduated from Oktaha High School with the Class of 1957 After high school she worked at the Comanche County Court House as a Clerk for the County.

She then attended Real Estate School, becoming an agent and then a Broker. She enjoyed a long successful career with Scoggins Realty in Lawton, OK before her retirement in 2014. Her hobbies included studying the Bible, collecting figurines and thimbles.

She also loved reading. Frankie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her siblings.

She was an active member at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church in Muskogee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ruth Ledford; husband, Harold Wayne Richardson; great grandson, Hayden Raymond Vernon; and sister, Kathleen McCune. Frankie is survived by her children, Russell Richardson of Oakland, CA, and Shelley Richardson Mackey of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Michelle Juarez of Oklahoma City, Jessica Malpass of Lawton, Dylan Malpass of Lawton, Alex Malpass of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Melody and Logan Vernon, and Jhe’vion Stormer all of Lawton; siblings, Nelda Daugherty of Binger, OK, Annette Frank of Muskogee, Jerry W. Ledford and wife Mary of Tulsa, Ron Ledford and wife Linda of Council Hill, Larry Ledford and wife Rose of St. Louis, MO, Gary Ledford and wife Gayle of Council Hill, OK and Linda J. Ledford of Muskogee; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members who will miss her dearly.

A family conducted memorial service honoring Frankie’s life will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church in Muskogee with Pastor Glen Little officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Flower Mound Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma. Cremation services were handled by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 N. York Street, Muskogee, OK.
