Frederic Leo Hobbs, 95, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. He was born February 23, 1923 in Canton, New York the son of the late Clifford and Ida (Paro) Hobbs. Survivors include: His children, Larry Moad (Brenda) of Illinois; Ida Branson of Jefferson City, Missouri; Fred M. Hobbs of Illinois; Bonnie Clarkston (Roger) of Eldon, Missouri; Rebecca Mankin (Casey) of Sedalia, Missouri Twenty-two Grandchildren & Twenty Great Grandchildren His parents, his wife Bonnie Lou Hobbs, his children Bobby Moad, Doyle Moad and Deborah Branson and three sisters preceded him in death.

Fred was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM with Nolan Scott officiating.

Interment will follow at Longview Cemetery in Jefferson City, MO with Full Military Honors presented. Memorials in his name are suggested to Noble Eagles. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
