Miller age 88, of Shelbyville, formerly of Bradford, TN, will be held at 2:00pm Monday, February 4, 2019 at Hunt Funeral Home in Bradford, TN, with Tommy Whitwell and Mark Earnhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 12 noon until 2:00pm at the funeral home in Bradford.

A native of Gibson County, she was the daughter of the late Earlie & Rosa Cash and was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Freeman Miller. She was the last of 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Dianne (Tommy) Whitwell of Shelbyville, where she resided for the last 18 months.

Grandchildren; Jeff Whitwell & Jeana Nier, great grandchildren, Dane & Samantha Whitwell, along with several nieces & nephews. She was a people person who met no stranger. She worked at public works until retiring at 62.

She cared for her family members and friends in the community, helping care for their needs. She loved her flowers and yard work in the summer along with her vegetable garden. In the winter she spent her time quilting.

Family members have several of her beautiful treasures. She was a faithful member of Griffin’s Chapel Methodist Church in Bradford, TN area and missed her friends when she had to re-locate due to illness, she will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Doak-Howell Funeral home is serving the family in Shelbyville and Hunt Funeral Home is serving the family in Bradford.
