Mrs. Dorothy Ann Bryant, age 81, of Bell Buckle, passed away February 1, 2019, at her home under the care and comfort of her loving family. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, February 3, 2019, at New Zion Church of Christ. Cory Bransford, Bill Hunter, and H.A. Beasley will officiate, with burial to follow in Smotherman Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Saturday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. She was born July 5, 1937, in Rutherford County. Previous employment included Durango Boot Factory, Black Fox Day Care, and she was a homemaker.

She was a faithful member of New Zion Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James Richard Bryant; a daughter, Kaye Hanson, of Bell Buckle; a son, Robert Bryant, and his wife Beverly, of Shelbyville; a brother, Robert “Bob” Helton, and his wife Betty Jean, of Bell Buckle; grandchildren, Tanya Jacobs, and her husband Chris, Jonathan Hanson, Jill Bryant, and Adam Bryant, and his wife Jennifer; great grandchildren, Kaylee Jacobs, Bethany Jacobs, Ethan Williams, and Carter Bryant. Memorials may be made to New Zion Church of Christ.
