Mrs. Linda Gayle Merlo, age 72, of Shelbyville, passed away March 6, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Lloyd Warren will officiate.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. She was born March 6, 1947, in Shelbyville, to the late Horace B. and Lily Fay Bonner Freeman. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a proud grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Merlo, in 2017; and two brothers, Steve Freeman and Mark Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Charles Wilson, Jr.) Todd; two brothers, Billy Freeman and Jimmy Freeman; two sisters, Sharon (Jim) Owens and Becky Freeman; and a granddaughter, Jessica Todd, all of Shelbyville. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
