Odem – Fredy Monreal passed away May 28, 2018. He was 23. Fredy was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 15, 1994 to Alfredo and Teresa (Baez) Monreal.

He was a lifelong resident of Odem, Texas. Fredy was an oil field employee. He was a beloved son, brother and protector.

Fredy will be missed by everyone who knew him. Fredy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Aurelio and Dominga (Guillen) Monreal; and maternal grandmother: Dolores Davila. Survivors include his parents: Alfredo and Teresa Monreal of Odem, Texas; sisters: Maria Elizabeth, Sandra and Monica Monreal, all of Odem, Texas; grandfather: Hijinio Baez of Mexico; and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 4:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A rosary will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018, 12:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM on June 1, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church in Odem with Father Isaias Estepa as celebrant.
