Gail’s Obituary Gail Marie Brammer Blair, 78, of Coal Grove, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Ironton native was born May 24, 1940, the daughter of the late Leo M. and Gladys Gool Brammer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Walton Howell Blair.

Gail was a graduate of South Point High School and attended Ashland Business School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed many hobbies including ceramics, genealogy, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a member of South Point Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by: a son: Walton “BJ” (Donna F.) Blair of Coal Grove a daughter: Lisa Lynn (Mike) Allen of Coal Grove a sister: Judith Damron of Coal Grove grandchildren: Amber (Stephen) Hickman of Conway, SC, Cassandra Spencer, and Nick Blair, both of Coal Grove great-grandchildren: Gage Caudill of Coal Grove, Braylen Massie of Conway, SC, Bronson Hickman of Conway, SC, and Evelyn Stambaugh of Coal Grove and two special nieces: Kelli (Jimmy) Bowman of Coal Grove and Emily Bowman Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street Ironton, Ohio 45638 with Rev. Jim Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Donations in Gail’s honor can be made to the Lawrence County Dog Shelter, 1302 Adams Lane, Ironton, Ohio 45638.
