Gaile Dean “Dee” Lightle, 66 HARTFORD CITY – Gaile Dean “Dee” Lightle, 66, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Hartford City on February 11, 1952 to Kenneth Lightle and Lydia (Reasner) Lightle. Both parents preceded him in death.

Dee graduated from Blackford High School in 1970. He married Reba N. (Snyder) on June 12, 1971 in Hartford City. He had worked at Hartford Concrete as a Fabrication Welder.

Dee loved to golf… Read More » and enjoyed being outdoors. He was not an idle man and would always be considered the “fun guy”. There was profoundness in his simplicity.

His greatest joy was his family and spending time with them. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Reba N. Lightle of Hartford City; sons, Derek V. (wife, Casey) Lightle of Hartford City and Dustin (wife, Leatreacia) Lightle of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Madison Lightle, Devin Lightle, Emma Lightle and Jake Lightle; several nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Lightle and sister, Kay Bailey-Krum.

Dee will be cremated and a memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Calvary Christian Lighthouse Church, 2101 N. Walnut St., Hartford City, IN. Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Keplinger Funeral Home for Funeral Expenses, 509 N. High St. Hartford City, IN 47348 or Donor’s Choice.
