Gale Leon Ford April 22, 1938 – January 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Gale Leon Ford of Sanger passed away on January 8, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 80. The son of James Franklin and Opal Irene (Rhoades) Ford, he was born on April 22, 1938 in Newton, Harvey County, Kansas. Gale served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Lake Ray Roberts Area Elks Lodge #2862 in Sanger.

Just after retiring, he drove a shuttle for WinStar which he enjoyed because he met new people. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Donna Mitchell and brother Jim Ford. He is survived by domestic partner Georgia Brand of Sanger; two daughters, Coral Jenkins of Morrison, OK and Gayla Bryant of Wichita, KS; one son Tim Ford of Haysville, KS; eight grandchildren Chris Booth, Craig Booth, Cody Booth, Josh Ford, Jason Ford, Jenny Ford Fernandez; Robbie Bryant and Tasha Bryant and 16 great-grandchildren.
