Garnet Taylor, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at St. James Healthcare, surrounded by her loving family. Garnet was born in her family home at the Columbia Gardens in Butte on Thursday, January 3, 1929 to Arthur and Wilda (Reid) Casey. Garnet attended schools in Butte and worked as a legal secretary until the birth of her first child.

At that time, she devoted her entire life to her husband and children. On June 24, 1950 she married the love of her life, George Taylor. Garnet was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Garnets happiest times were when her family would gather together and when her nieces and nephews would visit. Garnet was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Wilda Casey; husband, George Taylor; grandson, Stewart Taylor; sisters, Ruth Camitsch and Lorraine Craig. She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Rosemary Taylor, granddaughter, Jessica Taylor, son, Dennis Taylor and Patsy Winchester, grandchildren, Kelley Hodges, Justin Taylor, daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Mike Connors, grandchildren, Brandon Connors and Holli and Chris Denmark and 9 great-grandchildren.
