Obituary for Gary Roark Gary Roark, age 63, of Hudson went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, Hudson. He was born November 13, 1954, son of Tressie Lewis Roark and the late Russell Bruce Roark. In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory are one son, Stacey Roark of Granite Falls; one daughter Tracy Roark Cannon of SC; four granddaughters, Maddy, Macy, Megan Cannon and Shania Roark; three brothers, Dannie Roark (Roberta) of Boomer, Steven Roark and Lewis Roark both of Hudson; three sisters, Kathy McNeil of Granite Falls, Sandra Bumgarner (Eddie) of Hudson, Donna Tester (Jerry) of Lenoir.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with the funeral following in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jerry Tester will officiate.

The family will gather at Mountain View Independent Methodist Church Cemetery, Creston, NC the same day at 2:00 PM for burial.
