Obituary for Gary L. Wagner Gary L. Wagner, Sr., 79 of Lewistown, passed away at 7:48 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. Born August 22, 1939 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Albert W. and Alma Grace (Boreman) Wagner Lauver. Gary is survived by his wife, Sandy (Richard) Wagner whom he married in 1974; his children, Robin Thompson and husband Mike of Enola; Michael Wagner and wife Jill of Hershey; Kevin Wagner of Mount Joy; Michelle Hartley and husband Dan of Lewistown; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one on the way.

He is also survived by his siblings, James A. Wagner and wife Patsy of Lewistown; Linda K Souders and husband Roland of Middleburg and Connie E. Wilt of Alfarata. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Lee Wagner, Jr. ; his brother, Charles Franklin Wagner and a son-in-law, Harlow Thompson. Gary retired in 1990 from Standard Steel in Burnham and was employed at the Barr Funeral Home for 28 years.

He was a member of Calvary Bible Church where he was an usher and a member of the Men’s Bible Class. . His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Lane, Lewistown with Pastor Howard Houtz and Pastor Mike Wagner officiating.

Private interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery. There will be a viewing Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church.
