Obituary for Timothy B Reese Timothy B. Reese, 68, of Thompsontown, died Tues. Nov 6, 2018 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. He was born April 23, 1950 in Burnham the son of the late Detlef and Fern Stella (Snyder) Reese.

He is survived by his wife Connie (Ickes) Reese of Manheim. Also surviving are a son, Timothy B. Reese, Jr. of Lewistown, sisters, Betty Harris MD, Phyllis Rupert Lewistown, brother, Robert Reese and granddaughter Mercedes Solt of Manheim. Tim was preceded in death by brothers Detlef, Terry and Fred Reese.

He worked at Lewistown Hospital in the supplies department. Tim was a Chief Logan graduate who was voted most valuable player for baseball. He went to college on a baseball scholarship.

He also played baseball for New York in the Farm league. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved Penn State Football. A funeral service in loving memory of Tim will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov.

9, 2018, at Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan St., with Dennis Simonetti officiating. A viewing will be from 10 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be private.
