Obituary for Cubby F. Bair Cubby F. Bair, 77 of Bellefonte, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born May 2, 1941 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Richard “Cubby” Bair, Sr. and Violet (Arnold) Bair. Cubby (Crazy Pap) is survived by his children, Douglas Bair and wife Patti of Lewistown; Matthew Bair and wife Jenna of Bellefonte and Ryan Bair of Bellefonte; grandchildren, Kelsa (Buttercup) and Dakota (Wild Man) He is also survived by his siblings, Louise Gibbons of New Jersey; Jane Bair, Carol Dudick, Mary Lou Ughetto and husband John and Bob Bair and wife Michelle, all of Lewistown.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Marge Goodman. He was a veteran of the U.S Army. Cubby was a bar manager of several establishments throughout the years He was an Instructor of A.C.E. Bartending.

Cubby was a Referee of Wrestling and Umpired Baseball for 25 years. Cubby had a love for “his kids” that he helped throughout the years whether it be on the mat or on the field He was a member of the Lewistown Country Club, Loyal Order of the Moose Lewistown Lodge 143, The American Legion in State College Post 0245, member of the Undine Fire Company in Bellefonte. , and Lifetime Member in the Centre County Chapter of PA Sports Hall of Fame He was a wrestler at Chief Logan High School and played football as well.

Cubby was an avid golfer and poker player and loved the outdoors Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Hall, 303 Forge Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
