Obituary for Richard A. Williams Richard A. Williams, 81, of Lewistown, passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. Born November 29, 1936 in Lewistown he was the son of the late Samuel Williams and Marguerite (Isenhart) Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Sam and Robert Williams, and a son Richard Williams, Jr. Richard will be remembered and missed by his loving wife, Carol A. (Beaver) Williams, children, Anna Muniente, of Ohio, Steven Williams, and his late son’s companion, Kay Auman, of Lewistown, a sister, Marguerite Bender, of Altoona, grandchildren, Ashley Hobble and companion Donny, Kourtney Hesketh and husband Zac, and Zachary Williams, all of Lewistown, Jennifer Cooperrider, Christina Muniente, and Jessica Muniente, all of Ohio, and thirteen Great-Grandchildren.

Richard was owner and operator of Dick’s Taxi Service in Lewistown for many years, and drove school bus for the IU. Early in life, he was very involved in the Juniata Valley Football League and a member of The Salvation Army, as well as a Jaycee, Richard loved spending time with his family, and will forever be remembered for lending a hand to anyone and everyone. A time of visitation with Richard’s family will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
