Obituary for Delores Jean Dalby (Ford) Delores Jean Dalby, 90, formerly of Burnham, passed away at Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hanover. Born March 26, 1928 in Burnham, she was the daughter of the late Cletus L. and Ivon (Dorsett) Ford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Earl C. Greer, whom passed away in 1954, second husband, Charles H. Dalby, and sister Ethel Harpster.

Jean will be remembered and missed by her daughter, Patricia Rucker and husband Richard of Littlestown, siblings, Vivian Tully and husband Frances of Lewistown, and Deanna L. Rhodes of Harrisburg, Grandchildren, Andrew and Stacey Rucker; and Kevin, Kristen, and Beth Rucker, and Great-Grandchildren Lilyan, Lila, Bryce, and Reid. Earlier in life, Jean worked as an accountant at the Lewistown Hospital, and as an Office manger at The First National Bank in Lewistown. She was a member of The Calvary Bible Church, where she was very involved in church activities.

In her free time, Jean loved traveling, boating, but most of all, Jean loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they meant so much to her. A funeral service in loving memory of Jean will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 3, 2018 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown, with Rev. Howard Houtz officiating.

There will be a viewing held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean’s memory are respectfully encouraged to: Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Ln, Lewistown PA 17044.
