Gary’s Obituary Gary Lee Amiott, 63, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Gary was born on February 18, 1955, in Georgetown, Ohio, the son of Paul Joseph Amiott and Janet Louise Sheppard Amiott. He worked in warehouse management for the majority of his life.

Gary is survived by his son, Danny Amiott of Fairfield, Iowa; his wife, Jackie Amiott of the home, her children, Thomas (Kadidja) Sierra, Dennis (Joy) Sierra, and James (Lizelle) Sierra; her grandchildren, William Sierra, Kimberly Sierra, Amber Sierra, Sofia Sierra, and Julian James Sierra; his siblings, Doug “Paul” Amiott of Norco, CA, Janet (David) Hauck of Fairfield, IA, Mike (Vicki) Amiott of Torrance, CA, Mary (Gregg) Akin of Washington, UT, and Cindy (John) Passmore of Strathmore, CA; his sister-in-law, Rosalie Amiott, of El Cajon, CA; and his 16 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Janet; sister, Teri Amiott; brother, Steve Amiott; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Amiott. Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home, 617 N. Maguire in Warrensburg.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and can be left in care of the funeral home.
